On May 2008 near Buhot Creek in Daisy Hill, we found one on a small Acacia tree. It was slowly walking on stems and leaves. We found there was no other leaf beetle on the same plant, and no larvae were found.

When we came very close, it dropped onto ground and play dead.

On a small plant (? Leucopogon sp.) near by, we found another White Acacia Leaf Beetle.

When the beetle dropped onto the ground and play dead, we waited and wanted to see how it turn back and walked away. However, we waited for 15 minutes, it did not move a bit.

We also found one along Buhot Creek on Oct 2008. Notice the fresh bite marks on the Acacia leaf that the beetle just fed.

Thank to Chris Reid for the identification of this leaf beetle.
