- This
Leaf Beetle is shiny dark green to black in colour. They were easily found on
young gum trees in Karawatha Forest during early summer. Only adults were
found. They highly alerted to our approaching. Some of them dropped from
leaves even we were a meter away.

late afternoon on Bulimba Creek, we found an unknown Leaf beetle on a Red
Bottle Brush Callistemon citrinus, which is camouflaged in pale brown colour.
