- We saw this beetle (first photo) in Karawatha Park. It flied away after we took the above photo. Its body is bright orange-red in colour, covered by the metallic dark green wing-covers. Its head, legs and antenna are all black. We saw it again (the second photo) in Karawatha Park the next year. Again, it flied away after we took the one photo.
