Small 9-spotted Leaf Beetle - Tinosis decemmaculata

This page contains pictures and information about Small 9-spotted Leaf beetles that we found in the Brisbane area, Queensland, Australia.

The leaf beetle is bright orange in colours with 9 small dots on body. Its dots are highly varied among individual.

This small leaf beetle was found on a small plant in Yugarapul Park on Oct 2007.  On a small plant there were a few of them there feeding freely. They were "surface-mining" on the leaves.

We went to the Yugarapul Park many times through out the year but only saw them once.
