- Tube Spittlebug Nymph

- ? sp., tube length 12mm
- They are commonly known as Tube Spittlebugs because the nymphs build and
live in calcareous tubes attached to the stems of food plants. The nymphs
immersed in their liquid excretions. Their host plants are usually
eucalypts. Adults are usually greenish- yellow or black in colours.

Achilinae, tribe Plectoderini, body length 6mm
- Pictures was taken in Karawatha Forest on Sep 2007. The planthopper was
mainly dull brown and grey with whitish markings.

nymph in family Cicadellidae.

- The ant was attending a flat insect on a Acacia leaf. We think the flat
insect could be the leafhopper young instars.
