Green and Black Planthopper - Desudaba aulica

Family Fulgoridae, Subfamily Aphaeninae, tribe Aphaenini

This page contains pictures and information about Green and Black Planthoppers that we found in the Brisbane area, Queensland, Australia.

Body length 20mm

We found this hopper in Yugarapul Park a few times during early and mid summer.

This hopper is similar to the Green and Black Planthopper 1 but with slightly different body colour and with patterns on wings. We believe they are different species.
