Family Nitidulidae - Sap Beetles
- Hibiscus Flower Beetle
 - Aethina
concolor, body length 3mm
- We
sometimes found this black little beetle in Hibiscus flowers in our backyard
(1st photo). Pictures
were taken in Botanic Garden on Mar 2007 (2-3rd phone).
- They are common on
large flowers and believed are pollen feeders.
