Brown Belid Weevil - Rhinotia brunnea

Body length 20mm

 

This weevil looks very similar to the Semi-punctated Belid, can be distinguished by this beetle has more dark bands on abdomen. 

 

   

 

In mid summer 2005 we found the weevil in rainforest near Mt Nebo .
