Red-spotted Mirid Bug - Trilaccus nigroruber

Body length 10mm 
 
The bug is colourful with red spots on dark green. The head is red, all legs and antenna are also dark green to black. The bug is robust, heavily punctate and densely setose.

Pictures were taken near Bulimba Creek in Sunnybank Nov 2007. The bug was colourful black and red.

This Mirid Bug is predator of larvae of other small insects.
