Body length 25mm
 
This black cockroach is narrowly oval and slightly flatten in body shape. The entire body is uniformly black in colour with legs in black to dark reddish-brown.

Photos were taken on Apr 2004. The cockroach was found wandering under the fallen gum tree bark during the day.
