Body length 8mm

 

 

Gerard sent us email and advised that: "A Lauxaniid, so family Lauxaniidae. Should be a Steganopsis sp. !" 

 

 

Pictures were taken on  Alexandra Hill during early spring. For some reasons, one of the fly's wing was broken.
