Zebra Spider Wasp - Turneromyia sp.

Body length 20mm

 

 

 

We saw this wasp once in Karawatha Forest during early summer. It was searching on the forest floor. 

 

 

 

Notice that it was flicking its wings while searching on ground, and its slight coiled antennae. They are the characteristics of Spider Wasp.
